A challenging and scenically beautiful course
Set in the middle of an oak forest Souillac Golf and Country Club is a delightful 18 hole course with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
The acclaimed golf course architect, Jeremy Pern, has used the natural contours of the land to create a course, with open fairways and deceptive greens, now acknowledged to be one of the best in South West France.
A course for all levels of golfers, both challenging and scenically beautiful, it rewards accuracy, and has some holes which are a real test for any golfer.
Reserving a tee time : Booking a tee time can be by telephone or at the reception. In the peak season it is advisable to reserve a buggy early.

Description
An open fairway with plenty of room on the right. The group of trees on the left which block the green from view are there to tempt the bigger hitters to go for the green with a driver, although the rough guarding the green leaves only one option, hit the green or pay the price. The second shot leaves you hitting up to an elevated green making this a blind shot to the pin. The green slopes severely back to front making putting difficult from above the hole.
