A challenging and scenically beautiful course
Set in the middle of an oak forest Souillac Golf and Country Club is a delightful 18 hole course with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
The acclaimed golf course architect, Jeremy Pern, has used the natural contours of the land to create a course, with open fairways and deceptive greens, now acknowledged to be one of the best in South West France.
A course for all levels of golfers, both challenging and scenically beautiful, it rewards accuracy, and has some holes which are a real test for any golfer.
Reserving a tee time : Booking a tee time can be by telephone or at the reception. In the peak season it is advisable to reserve a buggy early.

Description
The hike up to the tee is well worth it. The view is spectacular as is the shot you are about to play. As with nearly all the holes, the oak forest plays a crucial role in the style of play you must adopt. Here the conditions can be deceptive. Cloaked by the trees you are almost always unaware of the breeze drifting across the treetops. A shot hitting the green will usually stop quickly. There is more room for error to the right than to the left of the green.
