A challenging and scenically beautiful course
Set in the middle of an oak forest Souillac Golf and Country Club is a delightful 18 hole course with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
The acclaimed golf course architect, Jeremy Pern, has used the natural contours of the land to create a course, with open fairways and deceptive greens, now acknowledged to be one of the best in South West France.
A course for all levels of golfers, both challenging and scenically beautiful, it rewards accuracy, and has some holes which are a real test for any golfer.
Reserving a tee time : Booking a tee time can be by telephone or at the reception. In the peak season it is advisable to reserve a buggy early.

Description
An elevated tee position gives the false impression of an expanse of fairway ahead with a sharp dogleg left guarding the green. Trouble lies on the right with an out of bounds for shots into the woods, and the enticement to play safe and left leaves you with a near impossible 2nd shot. An accurate medium iron or 3 wood hugging as far right as you dare will open the green. The green slopes severely from back to front, do not leave yourself with downhill put, you have been warned !
